Evans Psychology Group is a private mental health practice located in Evans, Georgia. We provide a range of services including counseling for children, adolescents, and adults and psychological evaluations for children and adolescents. Our staff consists of a licensed psychologist who possesses a wide range of specializations and experience.

 

We provide services that are tailored to meet your specific needs with the belief that everyone can lead a more fulfilling and intentional life. Through psychological evaluation, therapy, and personalized interventions, we strive to help people achieve success in their everyday lives.

 

Dr. Henle provides in person sessions in Evans (Augusta area, Georgia). In addition, she provides telehealth sessions and is licensed to practice in New York and has obtained an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional telepsychology (APIT) from PSYPACT (This includes 42 participating PSYPACT states).

 

Be advised, we are no longer contracting with insurance companies and will not be billing your insurance company for therapy services. You’ll pay [an agreed-upon fee/standard fee] for your appointments using a credit card, check, or cash and here are some options to consider for reimbursement:

 

• Using Out-of-Network Insurance Benefits: Your insurance plan may still cover a large portion of your therapy costs if you have "out-of-network" benefits for mental/behavioral health. Look up your plan details (specifically under the out-of-network Mental Health Outpatient Services). If you don’t have out-of-network benefits, consider switching to a plan that does during the Open Enrollment period. Getting reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits is easy. Just log in to the patient portal and print your “superbills.” They will have all the information your insurance company will need to process a claim for you. They will send you a check in the mail for whatever portion is covered, usually within a couple of weeks.


• Health Savings Accounts: Counseling is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), and health reimbursement account (HRA). These are tax-advantaged savings accounts that allow you to use pre-tax money toward your therapy sessions. This way, you get the full value of your dollar (no taxes) and you reduce your income (lower taxes overall).
